Olmec Steel is a steel product manufacturer based in Blackheath, Cape Town. We design, fabricate and install everything ourselves, from the first CAD drawing to the final bolt. Homeowners come to us for security gates, burglar bars, balustrades and staircases. Factories and warehouses come to us for mezzanine floors, structural steel, cages and racking accessories. No job is too small, and the big ones don’t scare us either. We’ve shipped complete steel structures as far as Zambia.

Olmec Steel has its own design and technical department offering CAD drawings. We have our own installation and erecting teams to offer a complete in house operation.

WHY CLIENTS STAY WITH US
Everything happens under one roof. Our own design office produces the CAD drawings, our workshop fabricates them, and our own teams do the installation. You deal with one company from quote to handover, which keeps prices competitive and removes the finger-pointing that happens when three contractors share a job.
Do you handle small residential jobs?
Yes. A single security gate or a set of burglar bars gets the same attention as a warehouse mezzanine. We measure on site, fabricate to fit and install ourselves. Most residential quotes go out within two working days of the site visit.
Which areas do you serve?
We're based in Saxenburg Park, Blackheath, and work across greater Cape Town, including Kuils River, Brackenfell, Bellville, Stellenbosch and Somerset West. For structural work we travel further, and we've exported complete steel structures into Africa, including mezzanine projects in Zambia.
