Are galvanised steel gates worth it in Cape Town?
Yes, especially anywhere near the coast. Hot dip galvanising coats the steel in zinc inside and out, so the gate resists rust for decades rather than years. It costs more upfront and saves repainting and repairs later. We build galvanised sliding gates customised to your exact opening.
Can burglar bars be made for unusual window shapes?
Yes. Because we fabricate rather than resell, arched, angled and oversized windows aren't a problem. We measure on site, build the bars to match the opening exactly, and install them so they look like part of the house rather than an afterthought.
